Insurance & Funding
ABA therapy is covered by many private and government insurance providers. Our trained professionals can provide support to help you determine your insurance benefits.
Many insurance providers, government payers such as Medicaid and TRICARE for active duty and retired military personnel, and certain companies pay for all or some ABA therapy for children with autism. Some Ed-Alt families choose to pay for the services they receive.
To learn whether you have an autism benefit, we recommend you contact your insurance provider and your employee benefits coordinator. If you have any questions about how to determine whether you have this benefit or how you can obtain it, please contact us at (610) 831-1865.
Self-Funded Companies with ABA Therapy Insurance Benefits
One in 68 children is diagnosed with autism, and millions of families, employees and businesses are affected. For 31 cents per member per month – less than the cost of a cup of premium coffee – employers with self-funded insurance plans can offer coverage for autism treatment. If untreated, the lifetime cost of caring for a person who has autism is $3.2 million.
Employers say that the autism benefit improves employee morale and retention, and benefits the entire community. Employees say they value their employers’ commitment to doing what’s best for their children and families by providing access to the medically necessary treatment that helps children with autism reach their full potential.
